A/C at The Transit Center was restored on Tuesday July 9, 2024.

Due to the extreme heat wave that Sonora is experiencing, the A/C unit at the Transit Center went out. This happened today (7/8/24) between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:30pm. As soon as staff were made aware of the situation a request was made to County Facilities to fix the A/C unit. At this time there is no completion date. When a completion date becomes available this post will be updated. Below you can see all the locations in Tuolumne County that offer a cooling area. This information was released today by the County Office of Emergency Services.
