During the annual process of conducing the Unmet Transit Needs, Tuolumne County Transportation Council discovered that there was a need for public transportation from Big Oak Flat/Groveland area to Columbia College. To understand the depth of this Unmet Transit Need TCTC created a survey and sent it out to local high schools, the college and residents of Big Oak Flat/Groveland area. Even if you don't live in that area, taking this survey will help us gather data and be able to implement an appropriate service. It is great that the Tuolumne County Transportation Council is actively seeking feedback to address transit gaps, particularly between the Big Oak Flat/Groveland area and Columbia College. Reliable public transport makes such a massive difference for regional students juggling busy schedules between attending lectures, staying on top of coursework, and working out how to do my macroeconomics assignment on time, commuting stress is the last thing anyone needs. It makes you wonder how many students currently rely on carpooling or long drives just to get to campus every day. Hopefully, enough local residents and students fill out the survey so TCTC can gather the data required to establish a proper, reliable bus route for the community.
